Description

The Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust is the oldest Holocaust museum in the United States of America. It was founded by a group of Holocaust Survivors. Many of those founding survivors still remain active on the Museum's Board of Directors. The museum prides itself on housing precious artifacts that miraculously weathered the war, the ghettos, and ultimately, the death camps. The museum is committed to providing free education to the public as it is the only organization that guarantees dialogue with an actual Survivor, a living embodiment of history.
