On the same day that Matthew Broderick murdered Ferris Bueller for a Honda CRV, Jerry Seinfeld starred in a commercial for the Acura NSX that is actually kind of funny.  We know, we know. Bold claims for a Super Bowl ad. But he brings back the Soup Nazi, finds the last Munchkin, and zip-lines through Manhattan. “You racist” is only a considered a compliment when said to Mel Gibson. Director Lee Daniels did not appear to relish being called a racist by producer Avi Lerner on the set of “The Paperboy” on Sunday, going all strong and silent. The knock-down, all out battle over racism, disrespect and scuba divers (don’t ask, most of it is inaudible) was caught by TMZ on what appears to be a cell phone camera. The take away appears to be that the film, starring Zac Efron and Nicole Kidman is …More

Jewish organization J Street has released a video quoting many notable Israeli and American officials and foreign policy thinkers about the downside of a strike against Iran’s nuclear program. “The state of Israel cannot be destroyed. Penn Students Prepare to Counter BDS Conference

A Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) conference scheduled to be held February 3-5 on the University of Pennsylvania campus has mobilized pro-Israel student groups, as well as off-campus organizations, to counter the anticipated torrent of anti-Israel activity. Penn's administration has distanced itself from the conference, but it maintains that student groups have a right to hold events, even if many in the community do not endorse the views expressed.
