Gay marriage and nudity are usually two things that you don’t talk about together in an interview – unless you’re Adam Levine.

The Maroon 5 singer started his chat with Pride Source about gay rights, and ended up discussing nudity on “American Horror Story.”

Earlier this month, Levine told MTV News that if he was president for a day, the first thing he would do is make gay marriage legal, so it’s made sense for Pride Shock to begin by asking him why he said that.

Levine responded, “It's just so silly and it doesn't make any sense to me that you wouldn't be able to marry whomever you want to marry. It's not our business. I don't know why we're obsessed with making everything in this country our business, all the time.”

But interestingly enough, when asked if his brother’s sexuality influenced him, he said no.

He said, “ I happen to have a gay brother, but that doesn't mean I'm more of an advocate for equal human rights. That shouldn't change anything about the way that I feel.”

The interview then weirdly transitions into talking “American Horror Story,” in which Levine has a guest role.

While he admitted to being excited to be a part of the project, he also unfortunately revealed that his clothes would remain intact.
