Andrew Garfield swung into, we mean stopped by, the "Jon Stewart Show" last night.

The actor was on set to promote "The Amazing Spider-Man," which, in case you live under a rock and didn't know, comes out next week.

In last night's segment, Jon and Andy bonded over a shared love of the webbed crusader. Apparently, idolizing Spiderman was a common past time for scrawny, prepubescent Jewish boys everywhere. Who knew?

Andrew also talked about his recent visit to Comic Con, where he arrived dressed in a cheap, store-bought Spidey costume to let the audience know he was "just one of them." Yes, exactly alike, minus the multi-million dollar contract.

J-Connection: Andrew Garfield and Jon Stewart are both Jewish. Looks like they've come a long way from the comic book store.
