That’s right – Andy Samberg is leaving the hit comedy show.
He told the New York Times, “It’s an incredibly emotional and strange moment in my life. Obviously it’s not a huge shock, but I did officially decide not to come back… [It was] one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made.”
The brains behind the digital short movies had a great seven-year run on the show. He ran for president. He sang about his faith. He was interviewed by the greatest journalist of our time, Bert. He taught us “The Golden Rule.” But of course, our favorite has to be his notorious duet with Justin Timberlake.
Luckily, his greatest moments will be forever immortalized on YouTube.
J-Connection: Andy Samberg is Jewish...and funny. "SNL" is really going to be in trouble.
