Jason Gould may finally let us into his world and see (or read about) the real Barbra Streisand.

Her only biological son has been approached to write about his mother’s deepest darkest secrets, reports the National Enquirer.

A source told the publication, “Deep down Barbra and Jason love each other, but they’re always at each other’s throats. Their relationship has hit a new low, and the prospect of a book project has recently been offered to Jason as the ultimate revenge on his domineering mother.”

How stereotypically-Jewish-mother is the legend herself?

Apparently even after her son moved to California to escape her in New York, she still tried to micromanage and manipulate his love life and career! Keeping in mind the time difference and the 3,000-mile distance, that must have been hard work.

If this is true and Gould is that upset with his mother, he has the potential to cause a lot of damage to her reputation – he must have seen her at her worst diva antics.

Gould hasn’t made up his mind yet, but we’re sure Streisand is at the edge of her seat waiting, with a pen in her hand to cross him out of her will.
