Jewish Agency Responds to Haaretz Report on Galperin’s Salary

The Jewish Agency for Israel is trying to offer some perspective after a report in Haaretz said that CEO Misha Galperin's compensation package for seven months of work in 2010 amounted to $478,000, and chairman Natan Sharansky earned $214,000 that year — more than the prime minister.

The Jewish Agency's response: Galperin's pay is equal to what he earned in his previous job as head of the Washington federation, and his 2010 compensation figure included one-time relocation costs from Washington to New York. Did he use Shleppers or Moishe's Moving? Read the full response, posted by the Times of Israel, here.
