Lenny Kravitz is expanding his business empire by launching furniture and bedding lines.

The rocker founded his New York City-based interior design company in 2003, but now wants Kravitz Design to include furniture, bedding and clothing pieces. He has already designed a shoe line in conjunction with TOMS Shoes.

He told CNN show “Fashion: Backstage Pass” that “The plan is to make it a lifestyle brand, (that is) my dream for this company. In the same way you would see Ralph Lauren or Giorgio Armani."

He also wants to expand into other markets—he is set to open an environmentally friendly resort on a farm he owns in Brazil sometime in 2013.
