On June 28 and 29, marketing, digital media and social media professionals will gather in San Francisco for a chance to meet with leading industry influencers at the AllFacebook Marketing Conference. The event, which will feature the likes of Brian Madden of Hearst Digital and Robert Scoble of Rackspace, serves as an opportunity for professionals to further their knowledge of building brands, engaging customers and generating real revenue through proper use of the social networking tool.
The full two-day conference, which will be held at The Westin San Francisco Market Street, has attracted more than 50 speakers, as well as big-name sponsors Buddy Media, Adobe and Alchemy.
The conference's speakers are expected to use case studies to show how brands have built their businesses and gained following in online communities. They will also teach Facebook beginners about Facebook's latest tools, apps, research and advertising opportunities.
Sessions will include topics like "Facebook Marketing: Legal & Regulatory Compliance," "Competitive Analysis on Facebook," "Monetizing Facebook Games through Advertising" and "Facebook Ads: Can They Promote More Than Just Likes?"
Participants said more and more companies, both media and non-media related, are understanding the importance of establishing an online presence and gaining "likes."
"Brands that do not make Facebook marketing a priority will risk seeing their hard-earned 'likes' churn away," said Grant Crowell, a senior media analyst, media producer and personality, who spoke at the inaugural AllFacebook conference in 2011.
Other speakers featured at the event hold executive positions at Buddy Media, appssavvy, BO.LT, Fang Digital Media, Ancestry.com, the Online Marketing Institute, Fuddrucker's Restaurants, and Facebook itself.
Networking passes are available for $25 online and for $50 on-site for access to the exhibition areas and night reception.
J-Connection: Many Jewish speakers are scheduled to mentor event attendees, including David Adler of Leavens, Strand, Glover & Adler, Roger Katz of Friend2Friend and Seth Lieberman of Pangea Media and SnapApp.
