Plan to Attack London Jewish Neighborhoods Is Revealed

Documents detailing a plot to attack Jewish neighborhoods in London were found on the body of an African leader of al-Qaida. The plans, which included plots for a kidnapping and attacks on Eton College and the Ritz and Dorchester hotels in London, were found on the body of Fazul Abdullah Mohammed, 38, who was shot last year by Somali forces as he tried to crash through a government checkpoint, the Toronto Star reported Wednesday. Tensions between Gaza and Israel have been heating up over the last few days. On Sunday, the Israeli army reported that two Grad rockets were fired into Southern Israel from Sinai. On Monday, three terrorists crossed into Israel from Sinai and killed an Israeli construction worker, Said Fashapshe, a 36 year-old father of four. Al-Qaida Chief Offers Swap for Hostage Weinstein

Al-Qaida leader Ayman al-Zawahiri said in a video that he would swap an American hostage for prisoners in the US with links to the organization. In exchange for Warren Weinstein, Zawahiri specifically called for the release of Sheikh Omar Abdul Rahman, the blind cleric convicted of attempting to blow up the World Trade Center in the early 1990s; the family of Osama bin Laden, the assassinated leader of al-Qaida; and Aafia Siddiqui, who was convicted in 2010 in New York for attempting to murder U.S. government …More

First Lebanese Rocket Fire Since 2009 Lands in Northern Israel (VIDEO)

Four rockets were fired from Lebanon into Northern Israel Monday night, the Israeli army reported. Two buildings were damaged, and a fire ignited, but no casualties resulted from the attack. The Jerusalem Post reports that one rocket landed in border town Biranit, and two caused minor damage in Netua. Police are searching for the fourth rocket in the wooded area south of Ma’alot. 'IDF bombing in Gaza kills 2 attempting to launch rocket'

Israeli forces fired into the Gaza Strip on Tuesday to kill two gunmen from an al-Qaida-affiliated Palestinian faction who approached the boundary fence, Palestinian medical officials said.
