US Assures Israel on Iran with Upgraded Bunker Busters

US officials allegedly told Israel that the United States has improved weapons capable of destroying Iran's underground nuclear site in Fordow. The Wall Street Journal, quoting unnamed American officials, reported Thursday that the United States had assured Israel that advanced features added to its bunker buster bombs vastly improved its ability to destroy underground facilities. Hezbollah Denies Involvement in Burgas Attack

Hezbollah denied it was involved in a terrorist attack in Bulgaria that killed six, including five Israelis. US Sells 7,000 Bomb Kits to Israel

The US has approved the sale of nearly 7,000 precision bomb kits to Israel, an agreement valued at $647 million. White House Denies Discussion of Bunker-Busting Bombs with Israel

The White House has denied reports that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu discussed the sale military technology for use against Iran with American President Barack Obama during their recent meeting. “In meetings the president had there was no such agreement proposed or reached,” White House press secretary Jay Carney told reporters. An explosion took place on or near a bus in central Jerusalem Wednesday afternoon.Police said that a bomb exploded outside Egged bus number 74 at a station opposite the Jerusalem Conference Center in the center of town.Magen David Adom said that there were 20 people injured.
