Bernard Malamud is considered one of the greatest Jewish authors of the 20th century. This Brooklyn native has granted the community a trove of classic works, still acclaimed today decades after the iconic writer’s death. Polish Museum Unveils Historic Synagogue Ceiling Replica

A new addition to the Museum of the History of Polish Jews is garnering plenty of attention. The feature, a replica of the 17th century ceiling mural that was once seen in a now-destroyed Polish synagogue, was installed this week to a storm of fanfare.
