Lenny Kravitz might be singing a different tune in the very near future; he’s supposedly set to play Marvin Gaye in an upcoming biopic about the famous Motown legend. It would be the first lead role for Kravitz, whose supporting appearance as a stylist/fashionista/Katniss-groupie in this summer’s “The Hunger Games” was generally praised by critics. Lenny Kravitz Cancels Tel Aviv Concert

Lenny Kravitz won’t be performing in the Jewish state, so Israeli fans should get in line for a refund. The singer’s site on Tuesday showed tickets could no longer be purchased for the Oct. 6 Tel Aviv date. Kravitz announced this week he had to cancel the performance, due to prior filming commitments. Elizabeth Banks Scores at the MTV Movie Awards

They may not have beaten “Twilight” for some of the most acclaimed awards last night at the MTV Movie Awards, but the cast of “The Hunger Games” still won four Golden Popcorn prizes. Not too shabby! Josh Hutcherson won for Best Male Performance, and Jennifer Lawrence for Best Female Performance. The two actors then joined together and won Best Fight.
