Jewish Playwrights Featured in New York Workshops

The New Jewish Theater Residency is an initiative of LABA, New York’s National Laboratory for New Jewish Culture. Centered at the 14th Street Y, the program is featuring five plays as part of its residency series, which will be performed starting this weekend through July 1. LABA Art Festival Breathes New Life Into Ancient Texts

The LABA Festival is an annual tradition in Manhattan, bringing the work of Jewish artists into the mainstream. The LABA initiative is close to the heart of New York’s 14th Street Y, where the House of Study project fosters a different panel of select fellows each year.
