Report: Israeli Airstrikes Could Target Russian Missiles

US officials told the Wall Street Journal on Thursday that another round of Israeli airstrikes could soon target a new Russian transfer of advanced anti-ship missiles. The US launched a trial drone missile off an inflatable craft last week, courtesy of an Israeli defense group. Israel's Rafael Advanced Defense Systems created the inflatable naval craft, capable of firing missiles at enemy ships from miles away. Speculation About Accidental Missile Base Explosion Outside Tehran Increases

An IRG missile base outside of Teheran exploded on Saturday, killing 17 and wounding 15. The blast could be felt in Western suburbs of the city, witnesses told Reuters. Among the dead is Hasan Moghaddam, a senior Revolutionary Guard commander. An Israeli company has made a $43 million deal with South Korea to sell the country precision-guided missiles. Rafael Advanced Defense Systems will supply South Korea with Spike NLOS missiles, which have a range of 25 km.
