Israeli political newcomer Yair Lapid knocked Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu off the Time 100 list of most influential people. The magazine's list was released Thursday and will appear in its print issue dated April 22. The articles about the individuals listed were written by colleagues or admirers. Mark Zuckerberg Loses $3 Billion

When Facebook reported its second quarter earnings, it was not only investors who felt the loss, but Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg himself. According a a CNET report, Zuckerberg is down almost $3 billion as of market close on July 25. The value of Facebook stock, which is comprised of more than 500 million shares, declined by approximately $7.5 billion in the second quarter. Facebook is now giving its 900 million users the opportunity to share their organ donation status on their timelines in an effort to raise awareness for organ donation and potentially save lives as a result.
