She is looking forward to heading out on tour for the first time since welcoming daughter Willow last year, insisting her live shows will feel “completely new” now she is a mum. Conan and Madonna Take on the Holy Land

Conan O'Brien and Madonna are BFFLs. The evidence: O’Brien scored an exclusive deal to provide full coverage of Madonna’s MDNA tour opening night in Tel Aviv next week. The ginger-haired TV personality will arrive a day before the concert, along with a crew of 20 and three broadcasting teams. In keeping with completely invented tradition, Madonna has invited Natalie Portman and Sacha Baron Cohen, who both have family in Israel, to come to the opening night of the tour. Material Issues for Material Girl in Israel

Madonna says material issues are forcing her to cancel one of her two planned concerts in Israel later this month. The Material Girl’s MDNA Tour has been pushed back due to production delays, meaning that the original May 29 tour opener at Ramat Gan Stadium in Tel Aviv has been canceled. The May 31 show, originally billed as the “Concert for Peace,” will now serve as the tour’s opening show. A statement on Madonna’s official website said, "The change in the opening date was …More

Avi Liberman needs to raise at least $6,799 in the next 30 days. Thirty so-called Jewcers have already pledged $3,201 to fund Comedy for Koby, a semiannual comedy tour of Israel that benefits the Koby Mandell Foundation, but if Liberman doesn’t reach his $10,000 goal on Jewcer.com by June 1, his project won’t see a penny of the funding. This would be a shame, as Liberman has a great lineup of comics already signed on for the June tour, prepared to provide laughter while learning about the real Israel …More

Viva Israel: Tour Bringing Elvis Fans

Some Elvis fans will be making a pilgrimage to the Holy Land rather than Graceland. The Elvis Presley Holy Land tour in May 2013 will take 100 Elvis fans on a traditional tour of Israel that will include a stop at the Elvis Inn in Abu Gosh near Jerusalem, a diner cum shrine to "The King." The connection between Elvis and Israel appears to be his love of gospel music. Though gospel music does not come from Israel, “Elvis fans, a good majority of them, are church people, so it’s a good fit,” …More
