An investigation into a Brooklyn College provost was put to rest, after officials determined William Tramontano did not purposely block promotions for Orthodox Jewish staff. Last month, Tramontano’s name made headlines after politicians and educators sent letters to a City University of New York chaplain, complaining that the provost was preventing the hiring and promotion of Jewish staff.
